After the game Coach Chris said, ‘It is very important we play competitive matches like this where we allow the players to learn the game under no pressure and show where they are on their own personal futsal journey. Huge thank you to Joe and the University of York Women’s Futsal team for playing this game. These matches are always played in the right spirit with all the players smiling at the end.

I was pleased with all the debutants and a huge well done for the youngest member of the team Erin. The was her first game at this level and she settle quickly and did everything but score. She still has a lot to learn but the signs are we have another future lady’s player on our hands. It was good to see the likes of Heather, Sophie, Megan, Evie, and Katie play some lovely futsal, as these will be the main players in our U16 National Futsal Cup Team this season. Overall, it was a good night with lots for me to think about.’
