End Of A Very Strange Year – Bootham Futsal Club Week 4 – Season 4
Here I am again writing this after missing another session. Today is my last day of self isolation, and boy its not been fun. That said, a huge thank you to all in the NHS who have done so much for everyone this year – they are all our heroes!
Junior Roberti came back to help us out again, seriously don’t know what we would have done without him – what a pure gent. With it being the last session of the year, Junior wrote different rules to the games on the bottom of 3 cones. Each team then picked their own cone with a rules, and had to play like this! Good fun and the players really loved it.
Following on from last week, the older group continued their work on where they were on the court. The games were based around the players thinking their way through the game. Players were challenged, not just in a physical way, but also mentally. It was hard work but we got some good results, well done to everyone.

This has been a very difficult year for so many people. Covid-19 has changed the way we do so many things, let’s all hope the vaccine is everything and more than we all hoped for. We can not thank the parents and players of Bootham Girls’ Futsal Club enough for their amazing support throughout this year, simply put without you all, we have no club.
Have a fantastic Christmas, amazing New Year and above all else, please stay safe. We hope that 2021 is better all round for everyone.
Thank you so much and see you all again on the 10 January 2021,
Chris & Suzy
