As Pro Coaching Academy are involved in a lot of female sport, from their own futsal and football academies at Manor CE Academy, to coaching the very successful York Railway Institute U13 girls’ football team and the University of York Women’s football team, we were sent details on an organisation helping to promote female sport – Women In Sport. Their tag line being ‘Transforming sport for every woman & girl in the UK.’

Their mission statement is ‘We are Women in Sport. We’re transforming sport for the benefit of every woman and girl in the UK. By drawing on our unique insight we will champion the right of every woman and girl in the UK to take part in, and benefit from, sport: from the field of play to the boardroom, from early years and throughout her life.’

From the website you can see they are support and backed by some big names in sports – The FA, BUCS, British Cycling, Sport England, Comic Relief and many more – you can see they mean business.
