Bootham Girls’ and Ladies’ Futsal Club – York are delight to become an official partner of the #HerGameToo campaign.

#HerGameToo say – “We are a group of female supporters who are passionate about football and working to eradicate sexism in the football industry. We want women and girls of all ages to feel confident and safe sharing their opinion about football both online and in real life without fear of sexist abuse.”

Lucy Ford – Co-Founder of #HerGameToo said, “It is brilliant that we have partnered up with Bootham Girls’ and Ladies’ Futsal Club in York. They are already doing some excellent work increasing female participation in futsal and we look forward to working together!”

Bootham Futsal Club Ladies will wear the #HerGameToo logo on the sleeve of their match day kit in support of this fantastic organisation.

Chairman Chris said in conversation, ‘We have been looking to form this partnership since the #HerGameToo organisation started. When we formed Bootham Futsal Club 5 years ago we had the sole purpose of keep females, of all ages, involved in sports in a safe and secure environment for as long as possible. Futsal is a game for all, and female participation in this sports has increased massively over the last 5 years, and we are proud to be part of this growth. Promoting the #HerGameToo message is a very important statement for us as a club and any futsal club should get behind this organisation and do everything is can to promote it. We can’t wait to wear the logo with pride.”
