We are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Arnold Clark Community Fund. The grant will be used to support the Ladies’ team through the 2022/23 season with training, match and registration fees.

In March 2020, Arnold Clark launched their first ever Community Fund to provide financial help to community groups and charities that had been significantly affected by the coronavirus pandemic. We are pleased to announce that, so far, we have received over 20,000 applications from organisations from a wide range of backgrounds.

Bootham Ladies Futsal Team will wear the logo on the back of their match day kit for the forthcoming season.

Chairman and Head Coach Chris Collins said, ‘This fantastic grant from the Arnold Clark Community Fund will go along way to meeting the financial cost we need to compete in the FA Futsal Women’s Super Series North league campaign next season. The cost to competing at the second tier of English Women’s Futsal are substantial and this really does a long way to helping us meet those costs. Last season was our first and managed to survive, just!’

We went on to say, ‘We have a five year plan in place to reach the very top of women futsal and to achieve this we need financial support for everything from match and training kit, travel costs to registration and league fees. A huge thank you to The Arnold Clark Community Fund from everyone associated with the ladies team for supporting us.’
