Bootham Futsal Club are delight to introduce their new Child Safeguarding and Welfare Officer – Simone. She has spent the last 3 months working her way through 3 separate Football Association courses and finally completed everything just before Christmas.

Coach Suzy said, ‘We are delighted to welcome Simone to the club and are really excited to be working with her. By taking on this role, Simone has allowed the coaches to concentrate more on their coaching, and also has provided any parents or children, if needed, a fresh face to talk to.

Simone is currently employed as a Healthcare Assistant at Clifton Park Hospital in York.

In conversation she said, ‘I am excited to be starting my role of Safeguarding Officer and being of assistance to all the parents and children within Bootham Futsal Club. My daughter has been a member since the very first session, and she loves it. To be part of this developing club is a wonderful privilege.’
