FA LearningTo comply with the requirements of child safety, first aid, and welfare for the North Yorkshire Sport funding, Chris Collins recently attended the FA Welfare Officer Workshop in Hull.  The course was run at the East Riding County FA office and included modules on the importance of best practises, role of a welfare officer and how to deal with poor practises within a club.

Later this week Chris will be assessed by the FA for his FA Youth Award Module 3 and FA Advanced Youth Award.  And if that wasn’t enough, he will then travel to Doncaster next weekend to be assessed for his FA Futsal Level 2 award.  Very busy coach!

By completing the course, it has also opened up the way for Pro Coaching Academy to register the club with the North Riding County FA as both a football club and futsal club, allowing us to enter FA sanctioned competitions.

Very exciting times ahead for Pro Coaching Academy.  Get in touch to find out how you can get involved.
