Bootham Girls’ & Ladies’ Futsal Club are delighted to announce they have purchased a Veo Sports Camera. This project has been made possible by a grant from Localgiving and Postcode Neighbourhood Trust, a grant-giving charity funded by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.

The camera automatically tracks the ball during matches and practises without the need for anyone to operate it. These cameras have been used in many professional situations and it allows the club to record and analyse in detail matches and training session.

Chairman Chris said in conversation, ‘We are delight in this purchase and it will be an invaluable tool in helping us move forward the standard and quality of the players. The cost of the equipment was helped by a discount through North Riding County FA and the People’s Postcode Lottery grant.’

He went on to say, ‘The camera will be used at all the girls’ and ladies’ training sessions and allow us to produce high quality videos for all the friendly and competitive matches our teams will play. We can’t wait to see the results.’

He finished by saying, ‘This purchase shows the start of the next stage of development of our club. We want to play at the highest level of futsal in England, and the feedback this camera gives us will help us analyse the areas we need to work on and also what we are doing well. Feedback will be provided weekly to players of all ages, and we know they will enjoy watching themselves train and play. We just can’t wait!
