So we came to the last session of the half-term and boys, time has flown by!  Numbers are down on last year, and this is something we need to address over the coming weeks, but the players who are coming are really giving it everything.

Last session of the block is always match time, something all the players really enjoy.  The idea is to put in place everything they have learnt from the previous weeks in a game situation.

The first games were just standard rules and as per normal, players tried to do far too much on their own, running with the ball when the pass was the much better option.  That said, we did get some good moments of futsal, with some great one touch passing from several players.

The coaches put a two touch restriction on the next games, and also stopped players from scoring multiple goals in a row, forcing them to work with their team mates to create and score goals.  Some players hate this restriction but it really does help them understand that futsal is a team game!

Huge thank you to the support and effort from everyone who has been involved this half-term.  Have a good break and we will see you all again after the half term holidays on Monday 12th November.
