Last session before the half term break and the players all knew this meant match day!  The younger group get such a buzz from knowing they are going to just do matches and they never disappoint!

We split them into 3 teams, and they played each other twice in 7 minute games.  The girls always complain that 7 minutes isn’t long enough but are always shattered after the first game!  They just don’t realise how much running you do in futsal!

Top team went to the Yellows of Anna, Katie H, Clare, Emily-Sue and Maja who won 2, drew 1 and lost 1 of their games.  That said, ever game was very close and the commitment from all involved was brilliant.  They always do give us everything and all with a smile on their faces!

The older group were split into 4 teams, with several players rotating between the individual teams.  Coach Chris decided that his days of running around the court are long gone, so correctly stayed in goal!

The games were fast and furious with the Orange team of Chloe, Emily, Kim and Eleanor coming out overall winners, with 3 wins from their 3 games.  The futsal from all the teams was fantastic to watch and several players have really moved their game along.

We will be starting an advertising campaign for recruitment in the New Year.  Places across the various age groups are now very limited, with the U16s completely full.  Get in touch if you would like more information, and why not join one of the fastest growing clubs in the area!
