Coach Chris is looking for more success with the ladies’ team with their home game to Loughborough on Saturday. Into the squad for the first time come new signings Nikki Brown and Lucy Grehan-Bradley. Captain Ellie Whittaker is a doubt after the heavy blow she received to her ankle in the Leicester game, and will face a fitness test on Friday to determine her availability, as will Rowan Treagus after picking up her injury away to Loughborough. Ellie Rago, Denva Coupland and Colombe Mabboux-Fort all get recalls to the squad.

He said in conversation, ‘The last two Saturdays have been the best we have played as a team, so many good things came out of these matches, but we need to go and do it all again this Saturday. Last time we played Loughborough, they had several key players missing so I know they will be bringing a strong side. That said, if we play the way we have, I know we will cause them problems.’
