Bootham Futsal Player With A Heart Of Pure Gold!
At Pro Coaching Academy we love to highlight outstanding achievements in all areas. It was recently brought to our attention that U10 Bootham Futsal Player, Lyla, was awarded a Minster FM Local Hero Award 2019.
Lyla has been fund raising for various charities since she was 5 years old, yes 5! She has raised money for Comic Relief, Make a Wish Foundation, The Little Princess Trust and Jerry Green Dog Trust to name but a few.
We spoke to Bootham Head Coach, Chris Collins, about Lyla, ‘This is amazing and really shows what a heart of gold she has. As a member of Bootham Futsal Club, she has shown a real desire and fantastic attitude for the game. She always has a smile on her face and is such a lovely child to coach.’
