On Saturday 17 September Bootham Ladies Futsal players Denva Coupland, Charlotte Broad and Kim Samson were invited to attend the Women’s Talent Inclusions Centre on behalf of England Futsal in Loughborough. Denva and Kim attended the morning session and Charlotte the afternoon.

In conversation Coach Chris said, ‘We are so proud of these ladies, they played their hearts out today and who knows what the outcome will be. Each player got this invitation on merit and everyone at the club is extremely proud of them.’

He went on to say, ‘For a new and relatively small club like Bootham Ladies Futsal it is a huge pat on the back to show we are developing players in the correct way. We know we have plenty of girls in our academy who would jump at the chance to play for their country, and these 3 ladies, we hope are the start of many more to come!’
