Bootham Futsal Club is delighted to announce that four of its talented teenage players have been selected for England Women’s Futsal Development Squads.

Lacey Backhouse and Eleanor Comrie have both been offered places in the brand-new England U17 Women’s Futsal Development Squad, while Erin Elliott will join Heather Smith in the England U19 Women’s Futsal Development Squad.

All four players have demonstrated exceptional commitment and dedication to earn these prestigious opportunities, and the club is immensely proud of their achievements.

Former Bootham player Ava Worthy, daughter of Coach Paul Worthy, has also retained her place for the forthcoming season, a testament to the long-term success of Bootham Futsal’s player pathway.

Head Coach Chris said, “I am thrilled for all four players and the opportunities they have been offered. Every single one of them has worked their socks off, and this recognition is richly deserved. We’re excited to see how they develop and represent the club on the national stage.”

Bootham Futsal Club continues to nurture and develop future stars of the sport, providing high-quality coaching and a supportive environment for young athletes to excel.
