It was a truly fantastic achievement for such a talented and determined group. Congratulations to the U15s on their well-deserved success!

Player of the Week – U12s – Amelia H – With Aoife unable to play the second game due to illness, Amelia stepped up and took the gloves — and wow, what a performance! She was absolutely superb in everything she did. From making some fantastic saves to playing with confidence and determination, she was a key part of the team’s brilliant win. Top job, Amelia!
Player of the Week – U15s – The Whole Team – Coming into this week, the U15s knew they had to be at their absolute best — and wow, did they deliver! The way they played both games with confidence, controlling the tempo and demonstrating their growing technical ability and tactical knowledge, was remarkable. The feedback from parents, coaches, and supporters was overwhelmingly positive. It was a joy to watch such an orgainsed and determined performance. So, so well done, team!
Coaches Comments:
It’s not all about winning, but when a group of players performs like they did today, it’s impossible not to feel immense pride. The club’s decision to allow younger players the opportunity to train with the ladies’ team is clearly paying off, with five of the U15s having benefited from this experience. Their progress is undeniable.
Looking ahead, they face some tough challenges, including away fixture against a strong Repton side, the U16 Nationals in Liverpool, and an exciting trip to Italy. And let’s not forget — this is still an U15 team. The future is incredibly bright for this talented group, and there’s undoubtedly so much more to come.
The U12s also deserve plenty of praise. They played some fantastic futsal once again, really starting to find their rhythm in the league. With one week left, a strong finish is still within reach, and knowing this determined group, they will give it everything they’ve got. It’s been brilliant to see how far they’ve come — and this is only the beginning. Top job, ladies!
