BBQ Fun, Indoors!
On Sunday afternoon members of Bootham Girls Futsal Club held a fundraising indoor BBQ at the popular Corner Grill House in the centre of York. The event was attended by players and parents from all age groups.
The original event was supposed to be held a few weeks ago outside, like a normal BBQ, but due to horrendous weather it had to be cancelled. Roll forward several weeks and restaurant owner Radek, allowed us to run the event in his amazing venue. A range of tasty burgers, chicken and pork dishes, alongside salads and pasta, and an amazing chocolate cake were served to the hungry diners. Needless to say, everyone had a fun time and raised much needed funds for the club.
Huge thank to Jo and Radek for organising and hosting such a fantastic event, and to all the players and parents that attended.
