Bootham Girls’ & Ladies’ Futsal Club – York were delight to hear they have been awarded a £500 grant to purchase a video camera from the Local Giving Magic Little Grants organsation.

Chairman Chris Collins said, ‘The is absolutely amazing and something we have been after for a long time. It is a great way for the players of the club to improve when they can watch themselves back in both training and matches. We want the girls themselves to be able to use the camera and hopefully in the future make their own short films!’

He went on to say, ‘The ladies had a very tough time in their first year in the FA Futsal League, and the ability to watch, as a group, the match will only help us to improve and achieve of dream of Tier 1 status.’

The footage from the camera will be shown on a private YouTube channel, that only members of the club can view.
