Bootham Futsal Club – York would like to welcome Lucy Hudson to the club as a new coach. She will start with the club in July 2022.

Lucy is currently a Master’s student, studying Chemistry at University of York, after completing her degree in Biochemistry at the University of Exeter – so, far cleverer than Coach Chris but on a par with Coach Ellie! She hails from Salisbury, or down south as Lucy says!

Next season she will co captain the University of York Ladies Futsal team, as well as playing for Bootham Ladies Futsal team. She was recommended to the club by futsal legend Junior Roberti, and when he recommends someone you definitely listen! She played for the ladies at the end of last season and looked a fantastic players, so we can’t wait for her to carry on that form next.

Chairman Chris said in conversation, ‘I am delighted to welcome Lucy to the club. She has fitted in brilliantly with the ladies and I’m sure the girls will really take to her also. A huge thank you to Junior for recommending Lucy, and I know everyone in the club will make her very welcome!’
