Bootham Futsal Club Presentation Evening 2025

On Thursday 10 July, Bootham Girls’ and Ladies’ Futsal Club held its annual presentation evening at York Sports Club on Shipton Road. It was a wonderful occasion that brought together the entire club, from the Under 8s to the senior ladies team, to celebrate a year full of fun, development, and outstanding achievements.
The evening began with the much-loved annual fun quiz, featuring questions about ladies captain Ellie and Coach Tyler. As always, it was full of laughter, friendly competition, and the usual amount of light-hearted cheating.

This was followed by a review of the season, reflecting on the highlights and successes across all age groups. Individual awards were then presented, recognising the dedication, talent, and progress shown by players throughout the year.
A huge thank you was also given to all the helpers and coaches who have made this season one to remember. Special thanks go to Paul, Tyler, Emily-Sue, Abbie and Lewis for their dedication, energy, and support throughout the year.
A special mention was given to the Under 17s for their incredible third-place finish during the club’s first ever international trip to Italy—a proud moment and a huge milestone in Bootham’s history.
