Full Time: Bootham U13s Girls’ Futsal 4 – 3 Adwick Warriors U13s
Player Of The Match was Imogen D – Playing in her first competitive match for Bootham, she made some fantastic tackles and her forward passing was near perfect. She never gave up and made a couple of outstanding recovery runs to stop the opposition from scoring. Have we found another gem?

Final thoughts of a coach – I was particularly impressed by the way all the girls tried to play futsal, they passed the ball very well and looked to be patient, something they have never really done before. Thank you so much to Adwick for travelling to York for the game. Considering they had never played futsal, they did fantastically well, and we look forward to playing them again very soon. I was particularly pleased by all the girls who were making their futsal debuts for Bootham, all of them were superb. Finally thoughts goes to Aide, he has never been in charge of a futsal team before, lots of things for him to take away. Overall a very satisfied day for everyone involved with Bootham!
