Bootham Ladies Futsal Club play their first game of 2024 with a home match against Manchester Women. This will be the 4th time they have faced Manchester this season and the ladies are yet to get a positive result. With both teams pushing for promotion a win is a must for either side, as they look to take a huge step towards winning the league.

Coach Chris spoke to us earlier in the week, ‘The ladies acknowledge their challenging season against Manchester and are determined to rectify that this afternoon. The past three games were closely contested, and we believe we should have emerged victorious in at least one of them. Let’s hope for that bit of luck required to triumph against a quality opponent this time.‘

‘We’re thrilled to announce the signing of two academy players, Heather and Sophie, who joined the ladies’ team over Christmas. Heather is set to play on Saturday, while Sophie will make her debut in an upcoming match. The club places great importance on nurturing young talent, providing them with opportunities to showcase their abilities.”
