Last night, our U15s completed their final extra training session before departing for Italy and the Montesilvano Futsal Cup.

The girls were joined by several members of our championship-winning ladies’ team, along with a few new faces who came along to see what the club is all about and explore the possibility of joining us in the future.

Over the past four weeks, the girls have worked incredibly hard and made huge improvements. Their progress has been so impressive that whispers of matching last year’s third-place finish, or perhaps even going one better, were being heard around training last night!

Head Coach Chris said after the session:

“We leave on Friday and our first game is on Sunday, so the excitement and anticipation have definitely gone up a few notches. We told the girls last night that we know they’ll give everything for the club, and we know how much they want to win. But we also made sure they understood that enjoying the experience comes first and results come second. To win any tournament, you need a little bit of luck along the way, so who knows what might happen!”
