Titled Generation Football, the initiative is targeting people aged between 14-25 who want to become more involved with their local club and take their first steps into a career in football.

As Katie is already helping out each week, we saw it as a good idea to get her registered on the course. Each week she will accumulate coaching/helping hours and over the season she works towards gifts of a Nike Base Layer, Training Jacket and finally an FA Coaching Course.

When asked about the course, she said, ‘I love helping out, especially with the younger group, they are all such amazing stars! It is great the way they look up to you, like you are some wonder player, makes me laugh!‘

We will catch up with Katie later in the season to see how she is getting on.
