On Sunday, Pro Coaching Academy were invited to showcase futsal to a brand new audience as part of the entertainment zone at the North Yorkshire Sport School Games 2017 at Queen Margaret’s School, Escrick.

With teams from across the region competing in sports such as hockey, tag rugby, netball and mini tennis, along with 4 other activities, Pro Coaching Academy set up in the entertainment zone for pupils to try new sports.  The technical futsal set up included toe taps, dribbling through cones, agility ladder and shooting at a goal, all against the clock!

Coaches Chris and Suzy had a great day and in conversation afterwards Chris said ‘What a great day, the weather was perfect and seeing all the kids  being so active was brilliant.  I especially loved the way some of the pupils came back 2, 3 or even 4 times to try to beat their own and their mates’ times, fantastic to watch.’
