On Friday 1 July Bootham Futsal Club – York were delight to hear that Katie and Chris had both won their respective categories in the North Riding FA Grassroots Football Awards 2022.

Katie won Rising Star Of The Year

Chris won Grassroots Coach Of The Year – Adult.

We were also high commended in the following categories:

Grassroots Project Of The Year – Defibrillator Project and Grassroots Club Of The Year.

Both were extremely surprised but also delighted with their awards. In a quick conversation with Katie she said, ‘Wow, I’ve won, really? This is amazing, thank you so much for this, it means the world’
