On Sunday 1st May, York Futsal hosted Southern Tier Two champions Chelsea in a first leg play off game. Despite a fantastic first half performance, York just couldn’t keep up the quality and individual errors were punished by the southern champions. In front of another amazing crowd, York went toe to toe with their opposition and throughout the game really tested them. Unfortunately they couldn’t keep up their quality and tempo, and eventually lost 8-3.

York have the 2nd leg next week and only need to win 5-0 to progress to the finals….well, we can dream!
