After what was a disappointing performance last time out, Bootham Ladies’ Futsal Club – York travel to Sunderland University Women’s Futsal on Saturday 12 November 2022.

The game is being played at City Space, Sunderland with a 10.00am kick off.

Head Coach Chris said in conversation, ‘The players know they didn’t do themselves justice in the last game, and it wasn’t what we were aiming for this season. We can’t take anything away from Liverpool, as they are a superb team, but we know we are better than that.’

He went on to say, ‘We have reorganised the team, with a couple of players leaving, and hopefully in the next week or so we should be able to announce a new player or two. Last season Sunderland really taught us a futsal lesson and we are determined not to repeat this. It’s our first game on the road this season, and the start of 3 very hard away games in 3 weeks. I have set the players a target of what we expect, and I believe the ladies will deliver.’
