Bootham Ladies will be looking for their first win of the season when they entertain Loughborough Students in their latest FA National Futsal Series North match.

The game will be played on Saturday 28 October at St John’s University Sports Hall on Haxby Road. It kicks off at 1.00pm with doors open from 12.30pm. Admission is £3 for adults and free for U18s and all Bootham Futsal Club academy players.

Coach Chris spoke to us during the week, ‘The last two performances have shown we can compete with some of the best teams in this country, not just in our league but the league above also. That said, we now must find a way to convert these draws into wins. I have challenged the players to be more careful with the ball and show more patience in possession, recently we have played too fast and lost possession in the wrong parts of the court. Loughborough will bring a strong side, as last year’s games showed. The 4-4 draw at home was probably the game of the season for us, either side could have won it. We need our supporters to roar home the team, so please come down and help the ladies to their first win of the season.’
