The U12 played their first game in the league against Samba Allstars U12s. They started well with early goals from Florence, Isla, and Maisie, before new goalkeeper Scarlet made her first real save. The girls were playing some fantastic futsal and should have scored further goals. That said Samba played some good futsal and good defending and goalkeeping kept them out. The game finished in a comfortable win for Bootham, with everybody getting on the score sheet.

Some great tackling and defensive work from Jess H and great goalkeeping from Jess W kept Bootham in the game, but they just couldn’t beat the excellent Samba goalkeeper.
